Depression and Anxiety

Today I felt a bit of anxiety and/or depression. Now, I'm feeling pretty good. The thing that got me out of it was going downstairs and doing some work. I did some cleaning. I had the children clean, as well. At first, I was upset. I even had to yell to Omar, Jr NOT to talk back to me. Then I remembered that I have 7 months to get to where I want them to be. It took 7 months to get here. Therefore, I need to just relax. I will take it slowly. The office and the washroom are both clean. It takes time. *exhale* I feel better.

We frosted our cupcakes this morning. It was very fun. The children were very creative and messy!

This is way too much sugar!! Omar and Veta enjoyed it so much. I love how they get so excited.

Sunday Afternoon

So, I put on some Fishbone. The kids knew what that meant! Cleaning time. We cleaned. This week we're home from school. Wow, a whole week of no work. There is absolutely no way I'm going to spend a week in a dirty house. The flowers on the coffee table were given to me by Omar yesterday before our date to San Francisco. Sometimes he can just be so incredible. I love my husband. I love a clean house. I love my children. I love Spring Break. I love Sunday afternoons!

Season Opening Ceremonies

Today was the opening ceremonies for my daughter's softball league. It was wonderful. I must admit that the best part was sitting with my crazy husband, holding hands. We are so proud of our daughter. This is her first time playing softball. She was verp apprehensive. I know with time, she will become more confident. And the coaches are sooooo positive. What a great day!
